Condors in the Community: Condors out at Third Thursday at Mill Creek Park

The Condors will be out at Mill Creek Park from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. for Third Thursday held by the Downtown Business Association. The former Downtown Street Faires have moved to the park and will be held the third Thursday of the month through September. The Condors will have the inflatable slapshot booth, and prize wheel set up to give everyone a chance to win cool Condors prizes! Colonel Claw’d will also be joining the festivities! Mark Your Calendars:

The Condors will be out at the Festival of Beers on Saturday, April 30^th, being held at Stramler Park located at 3805 Chester Ave. The Condors will have a booth set up with prizes and a chance to win tickets to a 2011-12 season game.  All of the proceeds from the festival benefits the Active 20/30 Club who has donated over $60,000 to local charities in past years. The Condors will be out at CSUB Amphitheater on Sunday, May 1^st to support the Wounded Heroes Fund. The Condors will join the festivities of live music, complimentary lunch, and children’s activities. For more information click here.

The Condors Summer Reading Program kicks off June 6^th through July 30^th at Beale Library located at 701 Truxtun Ave. If you read 10 books or more you will receive a complimentary ticket to a game during the 2011-12 season. Stay tuned for more information by visiting www.bakersfieldcondors.com

Even though the hockey season has concluded, the Condors will still be out in the community all throughout the off-season.
