CONDORS IN THE COMMUNITY: Condors Raise $13,650 For League of Dreams & Kushneriuk, Kids in FREE tonight!
JAKE VARNER JERSEY AUCTION BRINGS IN $13,650 & COUNTING:
Saturday night, the Condors donned wrestling themed jerseys in honor of hometown Olympic Gold Medalist, Jake Varner. Following the game, the jerseys were auctioned off with the proceeds benefiting the League of Dreams, an adaptive sports league for children with disabilities.
In addition, a special Kushneriuk jersey was auctioned for $5,000 and the proceeds of that single jersey will benefit Condors F Chris Kushneriuk who is currently undergoing aggressive treatment for testicular cancer. In total, $13,650 was raised and there is still more to come as two of the specialty jerseys (Scott Greenham and Liam Huculak) will be put up for bid online later this week.

The Bakersfield Condors kick-off 2013 with a game against the Idaho Steelheads on Dignity Health home ice. And for all the parents wondering what to do with their kids on school break – bring them down for Kids In Free Night! The 9th Annual Bakersfield Hockey-Thon will take place
