CONDORS IN THE COMMUNITY: Great American Clean-Up, March for Babies, and Relay for Life This Weekend

Colonel Claw’d and Condors staff will begin their day helping make Bakersfield beautiful with the Great American Clean Up from 9-10 a.m. on Ming Ave. between Gosford and Old River Rd. Swing by and give a honk or wave as we help pick up around Bakersfield. We’ll be wearing bright orange shirts!

Colonel Claw’d and Condors staff will help cheer on participantsat the March of Dimes “March for Babies”celebration from 10-11 a.m. The celebration will take place at Liberty Park, located at 11225 Brimhall Road.

Baby Cal and Condors staff will bring the inflatable slapshot booth to the Delano Relay for Life event at Delano High School from 10-12 p.m. Delano High School is located at 1331 Cecil Ave. in Delano. Come walk, have some fun along the way and support a great cause.

Colonel Claw’d will greet those returning from the Woody Y Century and Family Fun Ride to benefit the Asthma and COPD Education Center from 11:15-12:15 p.m. The bike ride for all ages and ability levels starts and ends at The Park at River Walk located at the intersection of Stockdale Highway and Buena Vista Rd. There will be a festival at the conclusion of the bike ride for participants with music, prizes, raffles, and food.

CONDORS RAISE $7,000 TO ACTIVE 20/30 CLUB
Through the generosity of the great fans in Condorstown, theCondors were able to raise $7,000 to the Active 20/30 Club as a result of auctioning off the team’s warmup jerseys. The jerseys were auctioned off prior to the team’s final four home games of the regular season.
