The Condors made national headlines this weekend as a result of the physical brawl that erupted at the end of Saturday night’s game. TIP A CONDOR COMING UP on FEB 21
The always anticipated “Tip A Condor” event will be held at Hooters, located at 4208 Rosedale Highway Suite 100 on Tuesday, February 21st from 5-8 p.m. Don’t miss out on this great chance to interact with the players as they serve your food. There will also be plenty of items up for auction and fun had by all! The event benefits Shriners Hospital for Children. This week in Condorstown: TODAY!
Baby Cal and Condors staff kicked off a fundraiser at Ronald Reagan Elementary School from 7:15-8:15 a.m. The kids were greeted as they came to school for a great school week. The school is fundraising for the Feb. 3rd game this weekend. The Condors provide tremendous incentives and are excellent for raising money for your school. Wed. February 1st:
The Condors return to the Mercy and Memorial Hospitals Home Ice at Rabobank Arena for a 7 p.m. meeting with the Stockton Thunder. Doors open at 6 p.m. High School and College Students can receive $1 tickets to the game by presenting their school ID at the box office. For more information, call 324-PUCK (7825).
Fri. February 3rd:
Condors broadcaster Kevin Bartl will be a guest on the Scott Cox Show at 4:00 p.m. on KERN Radio 1180 AM. He’ll have all the scoop on what’s going on in Condorstown and will probably chat about becoming a national figure over the weekend.
The Condors begin a two-game weekend set with the Colorado Eagles at Rabobank Arena. Doors open at 5:30 and the puck drops at 7 p.m. The first 2,000 kids, 12 & under, will receive Condors Valentines presented by My45, KERI 1410 AM and Farmers Insurance. The Valentines feature Condors players and hockey-related sayings like “PUCK-er up” or “Don’t leave me shorthanded”! The kids will love to give them out in the classroom.
Sat. February 4th:
The team closes out the weekend against Colorado at Rabobank Arena. Doors open at 5:30 and the puck drops at 7 p.m. The Condors will wear specialty space jerseys as part of Jersey off our Backs Night presented by La Campesina 92.5 FM, Bright House Networks, and Bud Light. The Condors will auction the jerseys off for charity and will benefit the Asthma and COPD Education Center. Five lucky fans will walk away with a jersey through a raffle. Condors jersey auctions have raised over $750,000 in team history for various charities.
