Condors in the Community: Stephane Goulet to visit Thorner Elementary School

Bakersfield, Calif. – Time is running out to sign up for the Condors 13th Annual Charity Golf Classic! Slated for Monday, Oct. 25 at Noon, this year’s event will be held at Stockdale Country Club, located at 7001 Stockdale Highway. Teams are comprised of four entrants and a Condors player at a cost of $125 per person. Entry fee includes greens fees, cart, gfrange balls, a sack lunch, dinner after the tournament and a chance to win prizes. All proceeds from the event will go to the Kern County Youth Homes, which provides a safe, stable and consistent environment for children who have been abused or neglected, and for children with serious emotional and behavioral difficulties. The event has raised more than $56,000 in its history. Monday, Oct. 18

Colonel Claw’d and Condors staff visited Douglas J. Miller Elementary located at 7345 Mountain Ridge Dr. from 10:45 to 12 p.m. Colonel pumped up the kids as they started their Kick Off Fundraiser with the Condors. Colonel also be entertained the kids at their lunch hour by taking pictures and signing autographs.

Wednesday, Oct. 20

Condors RW Stephane Goulet will be at Thorner Elementary School located at 5501 Thorner St. from 8:15 to 9:15 a.m.to visit the kids, take questions, and sign autographs.

Condors F Bobby Robins will be at Rosedale North Elementary School located at 11500 Meacham Rd. from 9 to 10 a.m. Robins will be Rosedale North’s celebrity reader for the day, answer questions and sign autographs for the kids.

Thursday, Oct. 21

Colonel Claw’d and Condors staff will be at Greenfield Middle School’s Carnival which is being held at Horizon Elementary bbdlocated at 7901 Monitor St. from 5 to 8 p.m. Stop by the Condors booth to get a chance to win cool prizes by giving the Prize Wheel a spin.

Friday, Oct. 22

Baby Cal and Condors staff will be at Noble Elementary’s Carnival located at 1015 Noble Ave from 5 to 8 p.m. Baby Cal will greet the students and staff attending the carnival that night.

The Condors visit the Utah Grizzlies this weekend and then have a short stop in Las Vegas before returning to Condorstown to take on Stockton and Alaska on Oct. 29 and 30. Oct. 29 will be Schedule Magnet Giveaway Night sponsored by ESPN 1230 and Three Way Automotive Group.
