CONDORS SUMMER READING PROGRAM:
June 2 – JUNE 5
Local children are welcome to join the Condors and Kern County Library for the Annual Summer Reading Program! Come with your friends and sign up with the program to earn free Condors tickets for next season.
Colonel Claw’d and Baby Cal will kick off the Summer Reading program by visiting several of the branches next week. Meet the condors mascots, sign up for the program, and start reading!

BAKERSFIELD NUT FESTIVAL
JUNE 7
Come join Andrew the Almond and Colonel Claw’d at the Annual Nut Festival! He will be helping all the runners warm up before the Running of the Nuts behind Sam Lynn Ball Park from 7:45-8.45 a.m. After that, catch him living it up at the festival, at the Kern County Museum from 9:00-10:00 a.m.
Baby Cal can also be spotted Saturday, flying around Yokuts Park from 7:45-8:45 a.m. as H.A.L.T (Helping Animals Live Tomorrow) holds their annual Run.
