Condors to honor all military personnel with free admission Saturday

The Condors will hold a 9/11 – SEAL Team 6 Jersey Off Our Backs Raffle and Auction when the team hosts the Idaho Steelheads at 7 p.m. on Saturday at Rabobank Arena. The game is presented by ABC 23, KUZZ 107.9 FM, and American Business Machines.

The specialty jerseys will be auctioned off to benefit the Wounded Heroes Fund. Anyone in attendance has a chance to win one of five jerseys which will be given away at the game.

All military personnel and veterans along with their families will receive free admission to the game simply by presenting your military ID to the box office.

The game will feature a special ceremonial puck drop featuring veterans from various wars along with Bakersfield’s own Jeremy Staat.  Staat played in the NFL before becoming a Marine and serving in Iraq.  The United States Army will also be on hand for an official swearing in ceremony of new recruits during the first intermission.
