Street Hockey Stick & Puck Set Giveaway on Friday
Friday night is Street Hockey Stick and Puck Set GiveawayNight presented by ABC 23, HOT 94.1 FM and Three Way Automotive Group. The first 2,000 children, 12 and under, will receive a Condors Street Hockey Stick and Puck set to practice their games during the summer months. It’s perfect to play in the driveway, just please do not play in the house (except when your mom isn’t paying attention)!

The Bakersfield Condors host the Utah Grizzlies for the first of two games on the weekend to close out the 2011-12 regular season. In an extremely evenly-matched series, both teams have won five games, but Bakersfield has had the Grizzlies number as of late, winning four of the last five meetings between the two clubs.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT
The Condors jumped out to a 1-0 lead, but saw it slip away in a 3-2 loss to the Alaska Aces on Wednesday night in Condorstown. The team’s top two leading scorers, C Robby Dee and RW Tyler Helfrich each scored and LW Jesse Gimblett fought for the seventh time on home ice. G Matt Keetley took the loss, making his second consecutive start since returning from the American Hockey League (AHL).

The Condors scored an extra attacker goal on Wednesday for the sixth time this season. Four of them have come against the Alaska Aces…LW Evan Trupp has points in six of his last seven games (2g-5a).
