Reply: Brian, your mailbag was well-timed, although a couple days early, hence my delay in posting the response. We have announced details for our first-ever used equipment sale, and we’re also making it a merchandise blowout sale as well. The equipment that is down there is varied… most of it has been used for at least one game, but you’ll have to take a look. Hockey gloves, pants, socks, and even skates (plus more) are available.

Just as a side note, don’t let the thought of the used skates deter you, either. The skates that our players use are top of the line, probably triple the cost of the skates that The Mailbag Guy has, and once they’ve broken down just a little – too much for the pros to wear effectively – they are replaced. But certainly plenty of miles left in them for someone of my modest skating ability. So you might get a pretty good deal.

It’s Thursday & Friday, Apr. 11-12, at Rabobank Arena, from Noon – 6 p.m. We’ll try to get a menu and price listing a few days prior to the event.
