Comments: Saturday night my son and I were at the Condors-Thunder game.  We witnessed the horrific scene of Mr. Dame-Malka being taken off the ice on a stretcher.  Tonight, I looked on your website and the ECHL website, hoping to find information on his condition.  I didn’t find any information.  If it’s not too much to ask, please respond as to Mr. Dame-Malka’s condition.  My son and I sincerely hope he is okay.

Reply: John, thank you for your concern and your email. We received several emails, tweets and Facebook messages inquiring to Olivier’s status. However, we typically do not divulge too much information regarding a player’s injury or physical condition. But Olivier is doing as well as can be expected, and we’ll know more about his status after he meets with all the team doctors this week. Obviously we expect him to be out for a little while, but we are hoping for a speedy recovery.
