Reply: Not much, really. The Condors will still hold each of those players’ rights. Players have until Aug. 1st to accept their Qualifying Offer… which is actually a “qualifying salary”. After Aug. 1st, the Condors still hold their rights, but may sign the player to whatever amount they agree upon, more or less. Should the player choose not to sign with Bakersfield, they cannot sign with another ECHL club until the following season.
