Comments: You guys will keep us updated with Burgdoerfer’s injury, right?

Reply: Of course! As of right now it appears that Erik is going to be OK. For those that don’t know, he took a puck to the throat on Tuesday night and left the game. He was taken to the hospital to get checked out.

But as it turns out he was alright, and was released from the hospital that night and returned with the team yesterday. No word just yet on whether he will be in the lineup this weekend, that will depend on how he feels.
