Banner Giveaway, Olympic Silver Medalists, and Renegades honored this weekend!

CONDORSTOWN, Calif. – Come down to Condorstown and catch the Condors on Dignity Health Home Ice at Rabobank Arena for two games this weekend on Friday against Idaho and Saturday against San Francisco. It is Condors 15th Anniversary Banner Giveaway night on Friday followed up by an appearance from USA Olympic Beach Volleyball Silver Medalists Jen Kessy and April Ross on Saturday.

On Friday, the first 3,000 fans, 5 and older, will receive a HUGECondors 15th Anniversary Banner presented by 29 Eyewitness News, Fox Sports Radio 970, and Three-Way Chevrolet-Cadillac. These 3ft. X 5ft. Condors flags are perfect for showing off your Condors pride at home or around the office.

 

The Condors will honor the state champion Bakersfield College Renegades football squad on Friday as well and are running aspecial ticket promotion for BC friends, family, supporters, students and ANYONE who wants to show their appreciation for the ‘Gades with a smokin’ hot deal on Condors tickets. Come celebrate with the ‘Gades by purchasing a special $11(normally $18) lower-level ticket (the number of wins the ‘Gades had). Tickets must be purchased by Friday at noon by calling Brad or Kelly at 324-PUCK (7825). The deal will not be honored at the box office.

Saturday night will feature an appearance from 2012 USA Olympic Beach Volleyball Silver Medalists April Ross and Jen Kessy presented by Kelly 95.3 and Coldstone Creamery. Prior to the game, the Olympians will hold an exclusive question and answer session for ticket plan holders and groups of 10 or more at 5 p.m. During the game, get your picture taken in the Condors photo booth, get their autographs, and check out their silver medals. They will even – in a hockey first – will play a beach volleyball exhibition on the ice! For admission to the Q&A session before the game, fans must purchase their ticket plans OR book their groups in advance of Saturday’s game.

The game is also a SC Architect Condors Classroom Champions Night with students receiving complimentary tickets for achieving outstanding attendance levels.

Saturday’s game will be televised LIVE on Bright House Networks channel 10 and archived on Bakersfield On Demandchannel 300. It will have a royal flair as former NHL’er and current Los Angeles Kings radio color commentator Daryl Evans will call the game alongside Ryan Holt and Kevin Bartl.

Following the games, stop by the Bakersfield Marriott Autograph Booth on the main concourse near the front doors to meet your favorite players. On Friday, D Ryan Annesley and F Brett Lyonwill sign for fans while F Brett Perlini and F Peter Boyd will man the booth on Saturday.

Doors open at 6 p.m. (5:45 for STH on Fri., 4:55 on Sat.) and the puck drops at 7 p.m. 

The Condors battle the Las Vegas Wranglers at the special Midnight game in sin city at 11:59 p.m. on Sunday.
