Boychuk loaned to Condors
CONDORSTOWN – The Bakersfield Condors announced today that LW Zach Boychuk has been loaned to the team by the Carolina Hurricanes. Bakersfield hosts San Diego tomorrow night at Rabobank Arena.
BOYCHUK (stats) 26 years old, 5’10”, 185 lbs., Airdrie, Alberta
- Drafted in the first round (14th overall) by Carolina in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft
- Has played in 127 NHL games with 12 goals and 18 assists for 30 points
- Charlotte’s all-time leader in goals (123), assists (152), points (275), and games played (337)
- Had 25 points (9g-16a) in 56 games with the Checkers this season
In addition, RW Andrew Miller was loaned to Charlotte (AHL) by Edmonton. Miller had 15 goals and 24 assists for 39 points in 44 games this season with the Condors.
In a separate transaction, the Condors have recalled D Nick Pageau from the Norfolk Admirals (ECHL).
