Bulls power past Condors 4-2

CONDORSTOWN, Calif. – The San Francisco Bulls (6-10-0-2, 14pts) scored three times on the power play to pace a 4-2 win over the Bakersfield Condors (5-9-1-2, 13pts) Tuesday night at Rabobank Arena.

The Condors fell behind early in the first when the Bulls converted on a power play marker to make it 1-0. At 11:57 Bakersfield responded, this time while shorthanded, when F Alex Hudson lit the lamp on a breakaway. Shots were 6-6 after 20 minutes of play.

D Ryan Annesley notched his first of the season, when his wrister bounced off a San Francisco defender and the post and in, about eight minutes into the period. Bakersfield nearly escaped the middle frame with the one-goal lead, but a late power play provided San Francisco with the equalizer. C Dean Ouellet scored with just 10.2 seconds left in the period to make it 2-2. Shots were 16-13 in favor of the Bulls after two.

Another power play goal by San Francisco in the third pushed the Bulls back in front 8:33 into the period. The Bulls “D” took care of the rest, surrendering just five Bakersfield shots in the final stanza, and they added an empty netter to seal the win.
