Collins loaned to Norfolk (AHL) – BakersfieldCondors.com

CONDORSTOWN – The Bakersfield Condors, ECHL affiliate of the Edmonton Oilers, announced today that LW Chris Collins has been loaned to the Norfolk Admirals of the American Hockey League (AHL). The Admirals are the AHL affiliate of the Anaheim Ducks.

Collins leads the team in scoring with 11 points (6g-5a) in 19 games.He has scored six goals in his last nine games and had multiple three-point nights on Nov. 11 at Stockton and Nov. 30 at home against the Thunder.

The Fairport, NY native has played 190 games at the AHL level with 38 goals and 43 points for 81 points.

A jam packed night at the game will feature emergency vehicles on the plaza, a bomb detecting robot dropping the puck, and sled hockey during the second intermission.
Prior to the game, the team will hold the annual Guns N Hoses game pitting local police officers against local firefighters. New this season, former Condors Andrew Ianiero (Fire) and Mike Hofstrand (Police) will suit up on opposing sides. The game begins at 3:30 p.m. and for just $15 you will get admission to the Guns N Hoses contest and the Condors game later that night.
