Condors assigned Dillon Simpson
CONDORSTOWN, Calif. – The Bakersfield Condors announced today that D Dillon Simpson has been activated and assigned to the team from the Edmonton Oilers (NHL). Bakersfield wraps up a five-game road trip in San Diego on Wednesday at 7:05 p.m. and Simpson is expected to make his season debut.
SIMPSON – stats (22 years old, 6’2″, 194 lbs, Edmonton, Alberta)
- Drafted in the 4th round (#92 overall) by Edmonton in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft
- Had 17 points (3g-14a) in 71 games as a rookie with Oklahoma City (AHL) last season
- Named to the NCHC First All-Star Team as a senior at North Dakota in 2013-14
- Two-time WCHA champion (2011, 2012) at North Dakota
- Led all North Dakota d-men in scoring in 2012-13 with 24 points (5g-19a) in 42 games

The Condors return home on Saturday, Nov. 14 and will wear specialty jerseys commemorating the 240th Anniversary of the United States Marine Corps. Game-issued jerseys will be auctioned off for charity PLUS, everyone in attendance will have the chance to win one of five that will be given away. All military personnel, active or veteran, can receive up to four complimentary tickets to the game by presenting their military ID at the box office.
