Condors Complete Trade with Cincinnati; Send Goulet to Cyclones
“Alain has certainly contributed to us this season and we hate to lose him,” said Condors Head Coach Matt O’Dette. “But, typically you have to give up good players to get good players. We wish him the best of luck.”
Goulet, a 6th round draft pick (#159) of the Boston Bruins in 2007, scored seven goals and added 10 assists for 17 points in 46 games played with the Condors. Five of his seven goals came as a forward.
The Condors have reaped the benefits of having Trupp and Annesley with both players impacting the team positively. Trupp has seven goals and seven assists for 14 points in 16 games with the Condors, including a highlight reel goal scored against Las Vegas in Condorstown. He earned ECHL Player of the Week honors for the week ending Feb. 12. Annesley has been a top defenseman for the Condors. In 15 games played, the Ajax, ON native, has one goal and seven assists for eight points and a +7 rating. His +6 rating overall is good for second on the team.
