Condors double up Eagles 4-2
Bakersfield busted the game wide open with three straight in the middle stanza. D Alain Goulet, playing as a forward tonight, scored twice to lead the attack. F Robby Dee scored with a wrister on a delayed penalty call as well. Colorado sustained life with a late goal when a pass deflected in off a Condors stick to make it 4-2 Bakersfield. Shots were 14-11 in favor of the home team.
Pitton and the Condors ‘D’ held down the fort in the third. Pitton finished the night with 29 saves, and neither team got on the board as Bakersfield took the 4-2 win.
LW Hans Benson fought Eagles F Alex Penner twice in the first period… D Ryan Annesley and F Aaron Lewadniuk both made their Condors debut tonight, with Lewadniuk picking up an assist… Alain Goulet has three goals as a forward this season, and two goals as a d-man… Shots on goal: BAK- 30, COL – 31… PP: BAK 2/7, COL 0/4… Three Stars: 1. Cap Giveaways Saturday night
Saturday the Condors take on Colorado again for Cap Giveaway, sponsored by KUZZ 107.9 and Three-Way Automotive Group. The first 2,000 fans five and older will go home with a Condors cap. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., the puck drops at 7 p.m.
