vs alaskaThe Condors and Aces meet up for the fifth time on the season. The two clubs will meet 11 times this season, with the Condors skaing in six games in Alaska, and five here at Rabobank Arena. Alaska is 4-0-1-1 in their last six games while Bakersfield is 0-7-1 in their last eight games.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT
The Condors fell twice in a home-and-home series with the Ontario Reign over the weekend. On Saturday, 8,776 fans at Rabobank arena threw over 6,200 teddy bears and stuffed animals onto the ice when Scott Freeman scored shorthanded in the third period, but the Condors could not overcome a 3-0 deficit and fell 4-2. On Saturday in Ontario, the Condors struggled offensively as Darcy Kuemper stood tall for Ontario in a 2-1 victory. Justin Pender scored in both contests for Bakersfield.
Alaska has been on the road since November 18th and is currently 4-0-1-1 on their eight-game swing around the Western Conference. The Aces held a 2-1 lead in their last game on Nov. 26, but eventually fell in a shootout in Utah.

CONDORS NOTES
RW Scott Freeman is 5th in the ECHL in scoring with 22 points (10g, 12a)… Freeman (1st) and Sisca (4th) are both in the top-five in ECHL rookie scoring… The two forwards acquired by the Condors this week are both from the college ranks with Dee an alumnus of the University of Maine and Kushneriuk having attended Robert Morris University… The Condors haven’t played a game in four consecutive days, which is the longest such stretch of the season for Bakersfield since a five-day stretch in between games from Oct. 23-27.

ACES NOTES
Alaska has at least a point in 10 of their last 11 games…Gerald Coleman leads the ECHL in victories with 11… Coleman’s 1.24 GAA is 4th amonst goaltenders with at least 360 minutes played… D Russ Sinkewich was named the ECHL Plus Performer of the Month, leading the league with a +15 rating for the month of November.
