Condors sign C Nick MacNeil

CONDORSTOWN, Calif. – The Bakersfield Condors, owned by the Edmonton Oilers, announced today that the team has signed C Nick MacNeil to a Standard Player Contract (SPC).
MacNeil – career stats

  • 25 years old, 6’4″, 212 lbs., from Creignish, Nova Scotia
  • Played four seasons at the University of New Brunswick where he recorded 87 points (40g-47a) in 104 games
  • Tied for the team lead in goals scored in 2012-13 with 15 in 27 games
  • Named to the CIS All-Rookie Team in 2010-11 and won a CIS University Cup that same year with the Varsity Reds
  • Attended NHL training camp with the St Louis Blues in 2010 following a four-year QMJHL career with Cape Breton
  • Played 254 games with the Screaming Eagles from 2005-10, amassing 181 points (99g-82a)
  • Finished second on the team in scoring in 2009-10 with 68 points (32g-36a) in 65 games
