During his rookie campaign in 2009-10, he split the season between the Elmira Jackals in the ECHL and the Binghamton Senators in the American Hockey League.

The Saskatoon native pieced together a solid major junior career in the Western Hockey League with Swift Current and Calgary, posting three consecutive 20-plus goal campaigns. He finished third on his team in goals and points twice, and in 2008-09 he led Swift Current in goals, assists and points.

“I think it’s going to be a great opportunity for me, coming back from Europe,” said Dansereau. “I know Hans Benson is going to be there and I liked playing with him last season in Laredo. I’m excited about playing in Bakersfield, and I’m looking forward to not having snow for the whole year.”

Williams, 25, split his rookie season last year between the Arizona Sundogs and the Bloomington Prairie Thunder, who acquired him at Williamsthe Central Hockey League trade deadline. The Colgate University grad compiled 15 goals and 33 points in 69 games, placing 6th in the CHL in rookie scoring. The Plattsburgh, New York native added a goal in two playoff games with Bloomington. In his college career, Williams posted 62 points (26g-36a) in 153 games.

“I’m really excited,” said Williams. “My goal when I came out of college was to get an ECHL deal, and I’m really looking forward to this season. I know a few players (former college teammate Liam Huculak and friend Shawn Weller) that played there and they had great things to say about the town and the fans. I’m just hoping to play well, have a good season and go on a long playoff run.”

What O’Dette says:
“Keegan’s a guy that’s going to provide some scoring punch for us; a guy that can put the puck in the net. He’s a decorated scorer and used to be a captain in juniors, plus he spent half a season in the American League as a rookie. Jason had a good season last year in the Central Hockey League. He had a very good college career and can play both ends of the ice. He’s a good role player that’s going to be a good contributor for us.”
