Condors stumble in 4-1 loss against Vegas

Goals came quick in the opening period, with three tallies in the first six and a half minutes. The Wranglers drew first blood just 1:12 into the game, with Lampe’s first of the night, beating G Brian Stewart for the 1-0 lead. LW Jacob Lagace tied it up for Bakersfield just over a minute later, getting his 12th of the season. But the Wranglers added two more before the period ended, including Lampe’s second of the game, to make it 3-1 after one.

Vegas scored the only goal of the middle frame, with LW Adam Huxley blasting home his third of the season at 4:56. Bakersfield couldn’t cut into the lead in the period, despite an 11-6 shot lead.

Neither team lit the lamp in the third period, and G Joe Fallon made the lead stick. The Condors out-shot the Wranglers 25-14 over the final two periods, but the early damage had already been done, and Las Vegas held on for the win.

Cirque du Condorstown Friday night
The Condors head to San Francisco for games Saturday and Sunday. Bakersfield trails the Bulls in the standings by just seven points.

Next weekend, they return to home ice to host the Colorado Eagles next Friday and Saturday.
