Condors to play outdoors in Sacramento

CONDORSTOWN, Calif. – The Bakersfield Condors, owned by the Edmonton Oilers, announced that the team will play an American Hockey League (AHL) outdoor game on Friday, Dec. 18against the Stockton Heat in Sacramento at Raley Field. The game is part of the first-ever Biggest Show on Snow, a six-week extravaganza presented by Entercom Communications Sacramento, Raley Field, and RS Ice Sports & Entertainment.
JUST THE FACTS: GOLDEN STATE HOCKEY RUSH OUTDOOR GAME

  • Condors @ Heat outdoors on Friday, Dec. 18 at 7:30 p.m.
  • Game location is Raley Field in Sacramento, home of the Sacramento River Cats (AAA affiliate of the San Francisco Giants).
  • Tickets go on sale Saturday, Sept. 5 through the Raley Field website, www.raleyfield.com.
  • Incorporated in the event is the 34-foot “Monster Ice Slide”which was used at the 2015 NHL All-Star Game in addition to a number of other attractions.
  • This will be the eighth outdoor game in AHL history and the first to take place in California.
