Condors topple the Heat; raise over $26,000 for Special Olympics

CONDORSTOWN, Calif. – LW Anton Slepyshev scored twice and the Bakersfield Condors (19-18-2-2; .512) raced out to a 4-0 lead over the Stockton Heat (18-18-1-2; .500) and held on for a 4-3 victory Saturday night at Rabobank Arena. The team wore Special Olympics-themed jerseys for the game, and the post-game auction raised $26,750 for Special Olympics athletes in Kern County.
