TONIGHT
The Bakersfield Condors continue their four-game homestand with their second of three consecutive meetings against the Idaho Steelheads.  This is the third of seven meetings between the two sides vs idaho

this season. However, after Saturday, the teams don’t play each other until March 7th in Idaho.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT
Last night, Idaho raced out to a 3-0 lead behind goals from Chad Nehring, Kael Mouillierat, and Aaron Lewadniuk.  However, Bakersfield turned the tides though with second period tallies from Scott Freeman and Jimmy Martin before tying the game in the final minute of regulation with Alain Goulet scoring his second of the season, shorthanded.  The Condors went on to complete the comeback when Martin scored his second of the night .
The Condors snapped a three-game losing skid while the Steelheads relinquished a multiple-goal lead and lost for the second game in a row.

COLLECT THE PUCKS
With a goal in the second period last night, D Jimmy Martin became the fifth Condor this season to recored his first profressional goal.  Martin wouldn’t waste much time getting number two of his career, with an overtime, game-winning goal later in the game. The other Condors to record their first pro tallies this season are Mike Kramer (10/14), Peter Boyd (10/15),  Matt Campanale (10/22), and Mathew Sisca (10/28).

CONDORS NOTES
Scott Freeman has a point in 11 of the Condors 12 games played this season and is 1st in the ECHL in scoring with 18 points…Last night’s victory was the first time this season that the Condors won when surrendering the first goal of the game (1-6-1)…The line of Jesse Gimblett-Mathew Sisca-Scott Freeman has had a hand (goal or assist) in 23 of the team’s 33 goals (70%)…Sisca is on a three-game point streak (1g-3a)…Freeman was named the Kern Trophies Condor of the Month for the month of October during last night’s game…Dan Lawson made his professional debut last night…Bakersfield is now 3-0-0 at home against the Mountain Division

STEELHEADS NOTES
The Steelheads were without their top rookie scorer Chad Klassen last night…Klassen is third in the league in rookie scoring with 12 points…Ian Lowe is tied for 2nd in the ECHL with 3 power-play goals…Jimmy Spratt is 4th amongst ECHL goalies in minutes played with 465…Spratt is third in the ECHL with 243 saves…Idaho is 1-5-1-1 on the road…The Steelheads are tied for 1st with a 86.4% penalty-killing percentage.
