TONIGHT

The Bakersfield Condors rekindle their Hughway 99 rivalry against the Stockton Thunder for the 15th annual Teddy Bear Toss. It is the first time in the team’s history that the team will host Stockton for this eagerly anticipated game. Tonight marks the fifth meeting of the season between the two sides as they meet only three times after January 1, 2014.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT
Bakersfield split a home-and-home series with the San Francisco Bulls, dropping the opener at home, but rebounding nicely with a 5-2 win on Wednesday night at the Cow Palace. The Condors exploded in the third period with four goals, including three in the span of 70 seconds to seal the victory. C Joel Broda had a four-point (2g-2a) night, while RW Jordan Knackstedt chipped in with two tallies. G Tyler Bunz earned his first victory in a Condors sweater, stopping 25 of 27 shots.

CONDORS NOTES

LW Michael Neal picked up an assist in Wednesday’s win and notched his 100th point in the process… The four points from Broda is a Condors season-high… C Ryan Watson registered a multi-point game (1g-1a) in his Condors debut on Wednesday… The five goals from Bakersfield is a season-high… Bakersfield has killed off 11 straight power plays dating back to 11/17 against Stockton. The PK has climbed to 12th in the league at 86.1% overall and is fourth on the road at 92.5%.
