Condors Weekly – Bakersfield gets in the win column
CONDORSTOWN – The Bakersfield Condors got in the win column over the weekend, while the team battled through three consecutive 2-1 contests. The Condors record is 1-8-0-1 with three points in the standings. On the docket this week is three games in four days, starting with Thursday’s game at 10:30 a.m. Last Week: Three 2-1 contests
The Condors dropped a pair of 2-1 games on Friday in San Francisco, and Sunday at home against Stockton.
Saturday night Bakersfield jumped out to a 2-0 lead behind goals by C Joel Broda and RW Jordan Knackstedt, and G Andy Chiodo made it stand with a 20-save win in front of 5,953 fans.
