Currie’s late heroics propel Condors to victory
CONDORSTOWN, Calif. – The Bakersfield Condors (21-23-2-4, 46pts), owned by the Edmonton Oilers, never trailed on the night, and used a game-winning goal by C Josh Currie with 1:53 left in the game to down the Alaska Aces (23-20-3-2, 51pts) 3-2 Tuesday night at Rabobank Arena.
RW Jonathan Lessard had a goal, an assist and a fight, and G Maxime Lagace made 27 saves in his Condorstown debut for the win.
