Fathead Giveaway Friday; Star Wars Night Saturday

CONDORSTOWN, Calif. – Condors hockey returns to Dignity Health Home Ice at  Rabobank Arena for the first full weekend of Condors hockey in Condorstown. Friday night is Condors Fathead Giveaway while Saturday is Star Wars Night with a Party on the Plaza before and an exclusive season ticket holder Meet the Team Party following the game. Both games are against the newest ECHL Western Conference team, the San Francisco Bulls.

For the first time ever in Condors history, the team will give awaycustom Condors Fatheads on Friday to the first 2,000 children, 12 and younger, presented by My 45, Hot Hits 93.1 FM, and Reliable Moving & Storage. We’re not just giving away one fathead either. Instead, the kids will get a sheet with many fatheads featuring C Robby Dee, G Brian Stewart, D Erik Burgdoerfer, LW Evan Trupp, LW Peter Boyd and Colonel Claw’d! Stick them on your bedroom wall, above the mirror in the bathroom, or next to the refrigerator. In fact, with many different fatheads, you could stick one in every room of your house!

Saturday night will have an intergalactic feel as your favorite characters from Star Wars invade Condorstown. Star Wars Night presented by Fastrip will be the fans opportunity to meet and pose for pictures with an entire legion of Star Wars characters including Darth Vader himself. Everyone in attendance will receive a free Condors schedule magnet perfect for sticking on the fridge to remind yourself of what you’ll be doing for the next six months.

Before the game, come out to the Downtown Business Association’s Party on the Plaza at 4 p.m. There will be vendors, games, food, drinks, and even a mechanical bull! I mean, after all, the team will look to ride the Bulls of San Francisco right out of town too. 

Through their excellence in fundraising with the Condors,Centennial High School Choir will sing the national anthem at Saturday’s game. Following the game, all season tickets holders are invited to meet this year’s team at an exclusive Meet the Team Party in the Club Room. Get pictures, get autographs, and hang out with your favorite team.

Both games start at 7 p.m. with doors opening at 6 p.m. for the general public and 5:45 p.m. for season ticket holders. 

After both games, be sure to stop by the Bakersfield Marriott Autograph Booth on the concourse near the main doors to get your favorite player’s autograph. On Friday, LW Evan Trupp and C Robby Dee will sign for fans while D Erik Burgdoerfer and F Peter Boyd will man the booth after Saturday’s game.

TEAM POSTERS AND YOUTH JERSEY GIVEAWAYS

The Condors continue their homestand with two games on Friday, Oct. 26th and Saturday, Oct. 27th at Rabobank Arena. Both games start at 7 p.m.

Friday is Team Poster Giveaway presented by KERN 1180 AMand Castle Printing. EVERYONE in attendance will receive a team poster perfect for getting autographs.

Saturday is Youth Jersey Giveaway Night presented by La Preciosa 105.3 and Three Way Chevrolet-Cadillac. The first 2,000 children, 12 and younger, will receive a #8 Parker Stanfield ‘SoCal Kid’ jersey to sport around Condorstown.
