From ‘Bako’ to ‘Bingo’, Snetsinger heads back to the AHL
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – The Bakersfield Condors, ECHL affiliate of the Minnesota Wild, announced today that LW Brad Snetsinger has been loaned to the Binghamton Senators of the American Hockey League.
Snetsinger, 23, currently leads all Condors with 44 points, shares the team lead in assists (28), and is tied with RW Pascal Morency for second on the team with 16 goals. He joined the Condors in late December after starting the season with the Utah Grizzlies. Snetsinger earned ECHL Player of the Week honors for Nov. 8 – 14 while with Utah in which he scored 4 goals and 2 assists in three games, all against the Condors. Snetsinger notched 6 assists last weekend when Bakersfield hosted the Ontario Reign, and has 9 points (2g-7a) in 10 games this month.
In each of his three year professional career, Snetsinger has spent time in the AHL. He made his pro debut with the Lowell Devils in 2008-09, scoring a goal in 8 games before being reassigned to Trenton. He was back with Lowell last season, where he scored 18 points, on 5 goals and 13 assists, in 57 games. While with Lowell in 2008-09, he played for current Binghamton head coach Kurt Kleinendorst.
In his professional career, Snetsinger has scored 112 points (43g,69a) in 166 games. The Ajax, Ontario, native has produced nearly a point-per-game during his ECHL time, with 93 points (37g,56a) in 101 games.
