GAMBARDELLA NAMED TO ALL-STAR CLASSIC
CONDORSTOWN, Calif. – The Bakersfield Condors announced today that LW Joe Gambardella has been selected to represent the team at the 2019 Lexus AHL All-Star Classic presented by MGM Springfield. The two-day event brings the top players in the league for a Skills Challenge on Sunday, January 27 and the All-Star Challenge on Monday, January 28 in Springfield, Massachusetts.
GAMBARDELLA – stats Staten Island, New York; second pro season; 25 years old
- Made his NHL debut on Monday with Edmonton and has played two games with the Oilers
- Became the fourth Condors player to make his NHL debut this season and eighth in the past four seasons
- Leads the Condors in goals with 12 and is tied for second in scoring with 21 points (12g-9a) in 28 games
- Tied for the Condors rookie lead last season with 13 goals; had 19 points (13g-6a)
- The four players to previously represent the Condors at the AHL All-Star Classic are all currently in the NHL
