MR. POSTSEASON
Brad Malone leads the Condors in postseason scoring this season with three points (2g-1a) in four games. He did the same in 2019 and overall, the team’s captain has 19 points (9g-10a) in 20 career postseason games with Bakersfield.
KILLING IT
Bakersfield’s penalty kill finished the season killing off 44 of 49 power plays and that trend has improved in the playoffs. Wednesday the team was a perfect 6/6 on the PK and overall are 14/15 (93.3%) shorthanded.
GET OUT EARLY
First periods have been dry for the Condors as they have been held without a first period goal through four games and have trailed 1-0 in every games so far of the postseason. On the other hand, Stockton was 32-4-4-1 and 2-0 in the playoffs when scoring first this season.
DOWN THE HALL
Dustin Wolf won his first two Calder Cup Playoff appearances and is now a combined 7-1 overall on the season against Bakersfield. Stockton can become the first team to punch its ticket to the division finals tonight.
