Bakersfield raced out to a 3-0 lead after two periods and hung on for a 3-2 win in Coachella Valley last night. Tyler Benson (3rd) scored the game-winner and had 17 minutes worth of penalty time. Dylan Holloway (1st) scored in the opening frame, but left in the second period. Calvin Pickard picked up his 12th win of the year, stopping 34 of 36 shots.
