Bakersfield picked up a point in a come-from-behind shootout loss in Stockton Wednesday, 2-1. Vincent Desharnais scored the team’s lone goal and Ilya Konovalov stopped 34 shots.
San Diego was shut out on Wednesday at home, 4-0 by Abbotsford. They are in the midst of a season-long, seven-game homestand.

Ilya Konovalov has started to solidify himself between the pipes in the month of December. In his last three appearances he has stopped 68/72 shots, good for a .944 save percentage.
PENALTY KILLERS
Bakersfield’s penalty kill has gone a perfect 14/14 on the three games so far this trip. On the road, the team has allowed just five power-play goals all year in 42 chances (88.1%) which is third in the AHL.

The Condors have not led since the second period in San Jose on Nov. 13, a span of five+ games. Overall, the team has scored first in just six of 18 games. Despite that, the team is .500 when trailing after one and trailing after two periods on the year.
