GAME PREVIEW presented by Rodriguez & Associates
The Bakersfield Condors play game four of a season-high, five-game road trip.
LAST NIGHT
The Condors surrendered four second period goals, including three on the power play and dropped a 5-3 decision to the Roadrunners. James Hamblin scored twice for Bakersfield while former Condors Adam Cracknell and Cameron Hebig each scored for Tucson.
DOESN’T HAPPEN OFTEN
Last night was the first regulation loss in 10 road games in Southern Arizona. Bakersfield had been 8-0-1 over the past five seasons in Tucson.
TULLIO NETS HIS FIRST
Ty Tullio scored his first AHL goal last night. The rookie’s tally was not his first pro goal however as he spent the pandemic season in Slovakia professionally.
SHORT ON TIME
James Hamblin scored the Condors first shorthanded goal of the season last night. Bakersfield had seven shorthanded markers last season and Hamblin had one of them. Speaking of Hamblin, the third-year pro notched his third consecutive multi-point game with two goals last night.
PHILP JOINS THE PARTY
Noah Philp assisted on Ty Tullio’s third period goal, his first regular season pro point. He had an assist in round one of the Calder Cup Playoffs last year with Bakersfield.
WHERE TO?
Bakersfield’s road trip wraps up in Ontario, Saturday at 6 p.m.
