GAME PREVIEW presented by Rodriguez & Associates

Bakersfield is 2-1-1 in four games against Henderson this season. Three of the final four matchups in the eight-game season series will be in Condorstown.

LAST NIGHT

Raphael Lavoie’s second period power-play goal proved to be the game-winner for the Condors, 3-2 over Henderson. Alex Stalock stopped 23 for his first home win as a Condor. Seth Griffith had two helpers and now has back-to-back multi-point games.

CHAULK IT UP

Colin Chaulk won his AHL head coaching debut last night. He is the third straight Condors Head Coach (Gerry Fleming, Jay Woodcroft) to win their Condors debut and of the last six head coaches in franchise history, the team is 5-0-1 in their first games behind the bench. Chaulk is the 9th head coach in franchise history and the third in the AHL era.

SHOOT THE PILL

Raphael Lavoie leads the Condors with 105 shots and last night picked up his 10th goal in his last 18 games.

TOUGH TO BEAT

Bakersfield has just one regulation loss in its last 18 games (13-1-4). In that stretch, the team has allowed three goals or fewer in 16 games. Last night was just the third time in 13 games the team failed to score four goals.

POWERED UP

After being held without a man advantage goal in three games, the Condors power play connected twice last night with goals from Brad Malone and Lavoie.

TOP FIVE SETH

After seeing his 10-game scoring streak end last Friday, Seth Griffith has recorded back-to-back two point nights with two helpers last evening. Griffith now has 42 points (15g-27a) on the season and is t-5th in the AHL scoring race.

ON THE OTHER END

Daniil Miromanov returned to the Silver Knights lineup and scored on a 5-on-3 power play. He now has 26 points (4g-22a) in 31 games this year.
