TONIGHT

The Bakersfield Condors return home for a brief two-game home stand which begins tonight against Ontario. Bakersfield is in search of their first win against the Reign, who have taken the first two in the 12-game season series. It is the only meeting in the month of November for the two sides.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT
Bakersfield has won two of their last three contests, but fell in San Diego on Wednesday, 6-1, to complete a five-game road trip. The difference in the contest was the special teams as the Condors league-leading road power play could not get going, coming up empty on eight opportunities. Conversely, the Gulls scored on all three of their man up opportunities. D David Musil potted the lone goal for the Condors in the third period.

Ontario has won their last three games having surrendered just two goals over that span. On Wednesday, the Reign jumped out to a 2-0 lead and hung on to knock off San Jose at home, 2-1. D Kurtis MacDermid and RW Sean Backman had the goals for the Reign and G Peter Budaj stopped 16 of 17 for his eighth win of the season.

CONDORS NOTES
D David Musil is on a team-high, three-game point streak with two goals and an assist over that stretch. He has goals in two straight games… LW Kale Kessy has assists in each of his last two games… G Laurent Brossoit has won has last two starts stopping 71 of 74 shots in wins over Stockton and San Jose on the road. His 40 save effort against San Jose on Wednesday was a season-high for a Condors netminder.

REIGN NOTES
W Michael Mersch leads the AHL in shots with 55… G Peter Budaj is the league leader in goals-against average (1.28), is tied for the league lead in wins (8), and is second in save percentage (.947). He has played the third-most minutes in the league at 607:48 and paces all netminders with four shutouts on the season… Rookie LW Adrian Kempe is t-11th among first-year players in poins with nine (4g-5a). He had an assist on Wednesday against San Jose… The Reign have two defensemen on recall with Los Angeles currently, D Jamie McBain and D Derek Forbort.
