TONIGHT

For the second straight night, the Condors welcome a brand new opponent to Bakersfield as the Rockford IceHogs make their first appearance. Following last night’s loss, the Condors are 1-1-1 overall this season against the Central Division. Including last night, the Condors play five of their next six against the Central Division.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT
Bakersfield dropped their first game in regulation when leading after two periods, 4-3, to Chicago a night ago. RW Ty Rattie scored twice against his former club, including a second period power-play goal to give the Condors a 3-2 lead. But, Chicago scored twice in 22 seconds in the final five minutes of regulation.

Rockford extended their point streak to four games with a 4-2 win in San Jose. C Tanner Kero had two goals in the win and California native Collin Delia made 23 saves on 25 shots in the win. The IceHogs have won both of their games on a three-game California road trip.

AGAINST THE CENTRAL
Bakersfield is 1-1-1 (.500) against the Central Division this season with a win and overtime loss to Manitoba and a regulation loss to Chicago. After tonight’s game the Condors will play three games in the Midwest next week against Iowa, Chicago, and Rockford. Iowa visits Bakersfield later in the season and the Condors head to Manitoba to a pair in April to wrap the Central Division slate.

POWER PLAYER
LW Ty Rattie scored on the power play for the seventh time this season last night. His 11 power play points are the most on the Condors.

CURRIE LEADS THE WAY
Since LW Iiro Pakarinen was assigned to Condorstown, the biggest beneficiary has been the play of C Josh Currie. The Prince Edward Island native leads the team with 14 points (5g-9a) in 17 games and a +10.

CONDORS NOTES
Though LW Iiro Pakarinen saw his team record-setting five-game goal scoring streak end last night, his assist extended his point streak to a season-high sizx games (5g-1a)… Rattie’s two goal night was his second multi-goal game of the season… The Condors have power play goals in eight of their last 10 games following Rattie’s second period strike last night… C Mitch Callahan played in his 400th AHL game a night ago and had an assist… The Condors were 9-0-1 when leading after two periods entering last night’s action.
