The Bakersfield Condors have won four straight and host Ontario in a matchup of the top two teams in the division.
LAST TIME OUT
The Condors weekend started with a 2-0 shutout in San Diego last night. Michael Kesselring (6th) and Raphael Lavoie (2nd) each scored third period goals. Calvin Pickard recorded a 20-save shutout.
TOP OF THE HEAP
Kesselring has six goals in 10 games to start the season and paces all AHL blueliners in goal scoring.
PICK-IN IT UP
Pickard’s shutout was his first as a Condor and the 17th of his AHL career. He has won three straight decisions, stopping 84 of 89 shots in the process.
BALANCED ATTACK
Sixteen different Condors have scored a goal this season in the opening 10 games.
THE SERIES WITH THE REIGN
Both teams have a win so far in the eight-game season series. Bakersfield won 3-2 on Oct. 16, before the Reign evened the season series with a 4-3 win on Oct. 29.
