Carter Savoie (6th, 7th, 8th) recorded his first professional hat trick as the Bakersfield Condors (13-19-3, 29pts) knocked off the San Diego Gulls (11-27-0, 22pts) 5-1 on Wednesday.
Savoie joined Ryan McLeod (2021) as the only other AHL rookies to record a hat trick for the Condors. Xavier Bourgault and Seth Griffith each had two assists. Calvin Pickard improved to 5-1 in his last six games with 29 saves.
The Condors have points in three straight games, collecting four of a possible six points.
