GAME RECAP: Condors 5, San Diego 2
CONDORSTOWN, Calif. – The Bakersfield Condors (25-22-8-1, 60pts) scored five unanswered goals to beat the San Diego Gulls (32-21-3-1, 68pts), 5-2, on Saturday night at Valley View Casino Center. RW Patrick Russell had a goal and assist, including the game-winner, to finish off a weekend in which he had six points (3g-3a). Bakersfield has points in four straight (3-0-1).
Bakersfield fell behind 2-0 on the opening two shots of the game, but G Laurent Brossoit stopped 33 straight to snap San Diego’s nine-game home unbeaten streak.
The Condors are in Ontario next Friday night at 7 p.m.
