Carter Savoie (5th) forced overtime in the final minute as the Bakersfield Condors (12-19-2, 26pts) earned a point in a 5-4 overtime loss to the Coachella Valley Firebirds (24-6-4, 52pts) on Friday. It was the team’s first trip to Palm Desert.
Ty Tullio (1g-1a) and Raphael Lavoie (1g-1a) each have multi-point nights for the Condors. All three 20-year olds (Tullio, Savoie, and Xavier Bourgault) scored on the night as the Condors rallied from two goals down.
Max Gildon had two assists for the Condors.
