Hunt and Brossoit selected for AHL All-Star Classic
CONDORSTOWN – The Bakersfield Condors announced today that D Brad Hunt and G Laurent Brossoit have been selected to play in the AHL All-Star Classic to be held Jan. 31 – Feb. 1 in Syracuse, NY.
HUNT – 27 years old, Maple Ridge, British Columbia
- Third AHL All-Star Classic selection
- Currently in Edmonton on recall with the Oilers
- Led the Condors in scoring at the time of his recall with 23 points (6g-17a) in 26 games
- Fifth in scoring among AHL d-men and second in power-play points with 14 (4g-10a)
- Named to the AHL First All-Star Team in 2014-15 and was an AHL Second All-Star Team selection in 2013-14
BROSSOIT – 22 years old, Surrey, British Columbia
- First AHL All-Star Classic selection
- Currently 10-5-3 with a 2.52 goals-against average, a .928 save percentage, and three shutouts
- Ranks fifth among AHL netminders in save percentage
- Made his NHL debut on April 9, 2015 stopping 49 of 51 shots against San Jose – the most in an NHL debut since 1998
- Made the second most appearances of any AHL goaltender in 2014-15 with 53

Join the Condors at Golden West Casino for a charity poker tournament, coming up on Tuesday, Jan. 12. For just $65, participants get a prime rib/chicken dinner, pre-tournament mixer and each of the 10 tables will have a Condors player/representative. Cash prizes will be awarded, plus bounties for knocking out a Condor! The tournament will benefit the Condors Foundation, a 501(c)3, so your entry fee is also tax deductible.
