PHIL KEMP SIGNS TWO-YEAR NHL DEAL
24-year old blueliner comes off a career season in 2022-23.
The Edmonton Oilers signed d-man Phil Kemp to a two-year, two-way contract with an AAV (average annual value) of $750,000.
Kemp, 24, has played 138 games with the Condors over three seasons notching nine goals and 22 assists for 31 points and a +20. In 2022-23, he played 71 games with Bakersfield and had career highs in goals (6), assists (15), points (21), and penalty minutes (51). He led the Condors in plus/minus at +12.
A Connecticut native, Kemp was originally drafted in the 7th round (#208 overall) of the 2017 NHL Draft by Edmonton.
