TONIGHT

The Bakersfield Condors play their second straight against the Las Vegas Wranglers and open up a two-game home weekend tonight. Bakersfield wraps up the weekend on Sunday at 5 p.m. against the San Francisco Bulls. Tonight is meeting 10 of 11 on the season between the two sides and the last of six in Condorstown. Bakersfield concludes the season series with the Wranglers in Las Vegas on Friday.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT
The Condors were in Las Vegas on Tuesday night and fell by a 2-1 margin. After F Adam Hughesman staked the Wtanglers to a 1-0 lead in the first period, the two teams engaged in a defensive battle with no scoring in the second period. C Nicholas Tremblay tied the game at 1-1 early in the third period, but minutes later F Chris Francis scored the eventual game-winner on a slap shot from the point. G Brian Stewart made his fourth consecutive start.

F Brett Lyon earned his 20th fighting major on Tuesday. He has 16 with the Bakersfield… The Condors have surrendered three goals or fewer in each of their last eight games… D Chris Haltigin picked up an assist on Tuesday, his first point as a Condor… C Nicholas Tremblay has 15 goals in 25 games with Bakersfield… G Brian Stewart is second in the ECHL in saves with 1,298… The Condors are 15-1-0-1 when leading after two periods of play.

CONDORSTOWN, Calif. – The Bakersfield Condors play two big games on Dignity Health Home Ice at Rabobank Arenathis weekend. On Friday night, the team is set to give away 2,000 custom Condors mohawks, while on Sunday the goal is to raise money for breast cancer awareness with the 9th Annual Condors Fighting Cancer Hockey-Thon. On Sunday, the Condors host the 9th Annual Condors FightingCancer Hockey-Thonpresented by 29 Eyewitness NewsKUZZ 107.9 FM. The Condors game at 5 p.m. wraps up a 24-hour hockey marathon in Bakersfield featuring players of all ages and skill levels as Condorstown raises money for Links for Life, a local breast cancer resource center. There will be auctions and raffles during the game on some great items and memorabilia.

Prior to the current Condors taking the ice, some of Condorstown’s greats and fan favorites over the past 15 years will compete at 3 p.m. in an Alumni Game and Shootout. Come see past players Kevin Barrett, Scott Borders, Jamie Cooke, Steve Dowhy, Scott Hay, Mike Hofstrand, Liam Huculak, Andrew Ianiero, Brian McCarthy, Glen Mears, Al Murphy, Jason Reesor, Paul Rosebush, Kevin Truelson, and Paul Willett relive the glory days and give it a go for charity (players subject to change).
After the Condors game, bring your skates and skate with the entire team. If you don’t have skates, no problem. There is a limited skate rental available for $5 per pair.
It is a Wells Fargo Condors Kids Club night with members receiving lower level tickets for free.
Also the Dignity Health Mercy & Memorial Hospitals and Diamond Technologies Turn Hockey Into New Knowledge (T.H.I.N.K.) program allows students to earn terrace level admission to the game through exceptional performace.
Finally, donate blood to Houchin Blood Bank in the month of March and receive $1.00 terrace level admission to the game as it is aKUZZ 107.9 FM Blood Drive Night.
Fundraisers are a great way to earn money for your school, group, or organization by partnering up with the Condors. Northwest Baseball had a tremendous fundraiser with the Condors and will be coming out to the game on Friday night. After the game on Friday, head on up to the Bakersfield Marriott Autograph Booth, located on the north end of the concourse near the main doors to meet some of your favorite Condors players. C Jacob Lagace and D Chris Haltigin will be up there to sign for fans.
Friday’s game starts at 7 p.m. with doors opening at 6 p.m. (5:45 p.m. for season ticket holders). On Sunday, doors will open at 2:45 p.m. for the alumni game and you must have a ticket to the Condors game at 5 p.m. to attend.
The Condors are on the road tonight for a pivotal game against the Las Vegas Wranglers at Orleans Arena. Puck drop is at 7:05 p.m. with Condors Countdown beginning at 6:50 p.m. Tune in via one of the many ways below.
