OILERS RECALL CONDORS CAPTAIN BRAD MALONE
The Oilers made a pair of roster moves following Sunday’s game.
- Forward Brad Malone has been recalled from AHL Bakersfield
- Defenceman Kris Russell has been placed on long-term injured reserve
Malone has scored 11 goals and 20 assists in 35 games for the Condors this season. The 32-year-old has recorded 13 goals and 17 assists in 199 career NHL regular season games. He is one of just two players in Condors AHL history to appear in 200 games with Bakersfield.
Twenty-three of Malone’s NHL games have come with the Oilers in 2017-18 and 2018-19. He was on an AHL contract until Edmonton inked him to a one-year NHL deal on Feb. 10.
