Oilers sign Tomas Jurco

EDMONTON, AB – The Edmonton Oilers have signed unrestricted free agent forward Tomas Jurco to a one-year contract.

Jurco, 26, played 33 games in the American Hockey League with the Springfield Thunderbirds and Charlotte Checkers last season, registering 27 points (12G, 15A).

Jurco also added 18 points (7G, 11A) in 18 games in the AHL Playoffs, winning the Calder Cup with the Checkers in June.
