TONIGHT
The he Bakersfield Condors complete the 2012-13 regular season with their 12th and final contest against the San Francisco Bulls. Bakersfield has won three of the last four meetings with the Bulls dating back to a 4-2 win in Daly City on January 13th. The Condors are 5-6-0-0 against San Francisco this season and can level their record against the Bulls with a win tonight.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT
The Condors earned a point in a see-saw affair with Las Vegas last night, dropping a 5-4 shootout decision. Bakersfield scored twice shorthanded in the second period and at one point held leads of 3-1 and 4-3, but could not come away with the win. F Greg Burgdoerfer scored twice, his first professional goals, and F Brett Perlini set a career-high with three assists.
FRESH FACES PAY EARLY DIVIDENDS
The Condors have been boosted over the past week by new faces in the lineup following their complettion of college and junior seasons. F Greg Burgdoerfer scored twice last night, including a shorthanded goal. He had just three goals all season for R.P.I. F Kyle De Laurell got on the scoresheet with an assist last night and F Dyson Stevenson fought for the second game in a row.
CONDORS NOTES
G Scott Greenham started for the first time since March 9th after returning from the AHL. He lost for the first time in a shootout this season after winning his first five shootout games. Overall, he has stopped 28 of 30 shootout attempts, tied for most in the ECHL… F Brett Lyon became the first Condor since 2010-11 (Erick Lizon) to surpass the 200-PIM plateau… F Kyle De Laurell registered his first pro point with an assist. He also led the team in shots last night with six… The Condors dressed 15 rookies last night, with the only non-rookie being D Erik Burgdoerfer. Burgdoerfer played in his 200th career game last night, all with Bakersfield, and is just the 5th Condors d-man to reach that milestone.

Condorstown willbe rocking on Saturday as the Krusty Krab’s top employee SpongeBob SquarePants will venture out of his pineapple and into the Condors photo booth to take pictures with the fans. If you’re ready to drop on the deck and flop like a fish, then make sure you’re in Condorstown to take advantage of this rare above-water appearance by him. PLUS,SuperFan Cameron Hughes will be in the house to make sure you get up out of your seats! The night is presented by 101.5 KGFM.
Saturday night is a Big Buddies Night where the Condors donate tickets on behalf of local organizations to underprivileged children and military personnel. It is an opportunity to provide children with this chance to see a Condors game that they may otherwise may not have gotten to attend. To find out how you can purchase tickets to be donated through the program, contact the front office at 324-PUCK (7825).
It is the final “B” Better Bakersfield Night with students earning half-price tickets by presenting their report cards showing a “B” average (3.0 GPA) or better at the box office. Kids, we know you just got those report cards before Spring Break, so bring them down and get rewarded for all the hard work you displayed in the classroom.
At the game, the Condors will auction off two special Chris Kushneriuk jerseys. One is a 15th Anniversary sweater featuring the names of all season ticket holders and the other is a white Condors Fighting Cancer Hockey-Thon jersey. Proceeds from this auction will go towards Chris and his medical bills during his battle against cancer. The Condors will also feature special video messages to Chris from celebrities on the jumbrotron during the game.
After the game on Saturday, head on up to the Bakersfield Marriott Autograph Booth, located on the north end of the concourse near the main doors to meet some of your favorite Condors players. F Jake Morley and F Phil Mangan will be up there to sign for fans.
Doors open at 6 p.m. (5:45 p.m. for STH) and the puck drops at 7 p.m.
The Condors begin the weekend on Friday against the Las Vegas Wranglers at Orleans Arena. Puck drop is at 7:05 p.m. with Condors Countdown beginning at 6:50 p.m. Tune in via one of the many ways below.
