“I’m so excited and can’t wait to be back in Condorstown,” Stanfield said. “Last year was the most fun year of my playing career. It means the world to me that I get another opportunity to play for a great coaching staff, a great organization, a great town, and of course awesome fans. I couldn’t be happier right now and I’m hoping we can continue where we left off last season.”

The 6’2″, 185 lbs. rookie scored 13 goals and added 17 assists for 30points in 47 games including a plus-six (+6) rating with the Condors last season. With more regular ice time during the second half of the season, Stanfield came alive with six goals and 11 assists for 17 points during an 11-game point streak in February, the longest such point streak on team. He continued that torrid pace into March as he registered points in 19 of team’s last 26 games played. During that 26-game period, the now 22-year old accumulated 26 points (10g-16a) which paced the team down the stretch.

“Our first impression of Stanny was that he was a raw talent who had great potential, because of his work ethic and attitude,” said Condors Head Coach Matt O’Dette. “He proved it when he was given the opportunity last season. The physical and on-ice tools necessary for him to succeed are there, but he’s always looking to improve. He has an infectious attitude that makes him the type of player you want to have on your team. It’s a big year coming up for him and he needs to build on what he did last season.”

Prior to turning pro, Stanfield played four seasons in the Western Hockey League (WHL) for the Prince George Cougars and Everett Silvertips. In 272 career junior games, compiled 58 goals to go along with 72 assists for 130 points.
